    The Move Is Over!

The move is over and needless to say, I am glad and relieved!  You forget how much fun it is to move until you do it!  It has been 11 years since the last time we moved.  We are hoping this will be the last time!

We had quite a crew come and help us!  We are indeed thankful for all of our family and friends that showed up to help!  We had people show up to clean the old house, we had people cleaning, unpacking and organizing in the new house, we had lots of guys show up to load and unload the furniture.  We had people running our kids to baseball and basketball.  We had people out getting us all lunch.  Thanks everyone - we couldn't have done it without you!  After 5 loads in the horse tailer, several car loads and truck loads - everything is moved!  Now we just have to organize and arrange everything here at our new home - we are getting close to having everything situated.  I am hoping to take some photos and post them soon.

Jason and I both took Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off of work last week to finish up everything.  We spent most of Monday finishing up the cleaning at our old home.  I cleaned all of the blinds and we finished the painting that we have been meaning to do for quite some time.  When it came time to leave the house, I felt really sad to leave.  Lots and lots of memories were made in the home - ones we will never forget!  We are so proud of that house - it was our very first one and we worked hard to make it nice.  It was a perfect starter home for our family.  Tuesday morning we had the carpets cleaned and we left.  We left our keys, garage door openers and left 4840 Bonniebrook Drive for the last time.  What a wierd feeling!

On to bigger and better things . . . it is SO nice to have space, space and more space!  Can I just tell you how nice it is to have empty cupboards in my kitchen and laundry room?  It is so nice to finally have 2 bathrooms!  I do not know how we survived with only 1 for 11 years!  I do not know where we had all of our stuff crammed!  We are so excited about our new home and look forward to all the memories that will be made here!
